Force was utilized in 13 instances to overcome resistance in making an arrest, 13 instances for the purpose of providing Officer Safety and one instance to ensure the safety of a witness. Of the 1,812 arrests, 27 required the use of force. Of those service calls, 1,812 resulted in arrest. In the last three years, the Oak Brook Police Department generated or responded to 64,644 Calls for Service.
